How can I add an attachement to a mail merge for email?

I have figured out how to mail merge using Outlook, but the mass email I need to send out requires an attachment to go with it. Any ideas?

    If you need to send an attachment with Mailmerge you should use a third party utlity for that. Outlook won't let you do this by default.

    You haven't explained how you do the mailmerge, so it's difficult to comment, but if the attachment is not too sensitive, you can put it up on a file sharing website such as, and simply include the link for download in the message. This will also make the message smaller and speed up sending.

      Hi 0ron here is ar the steps to Mailmerge in Outlook,

      As far as I am aware there is no way to include the attachments using default Outlook function. It's possible with other third party utilities though.

        Aibek, you're right of course. In that case, the options are:
        1. Store the document separately and send a link to it (such as a URL or UNC).
        2. Use a third party tool as you describe below.
        3. Use a another tool for sending the message and handling the merging, such as Mail Chip (
