How can someone have chat with friends on my Facebook account?

Anonymous July 14, 2014

I have encountered a strange situation. I will try to explain what has happened:
I found some IM under Messages on my Facebook that were not mine. They are sexual conversations with what appears to be some of my friends. After talking to them, they did not have the conversation with me. Can a person hack my site and hold conversations with another person that has hacked into another person’s site? Two hackers have sex messaging on someone else’s pages. I don’t understand the point of this kind of hacking, but is raising havoc with my marriage.

Regardless of what happened here, it's important that you change your Facebook password ASAP.

You wrote" After talking to them, they did not have the conversation with me. " Did they have a conversation with someone then?

No they said they did not have the conversation at all.

If the messages appear on both message histories, yours and your friends then I would say those two accounts did have those conversation. Whether those accounts were hacked or not when those conversations happened is something you (the owners) have to answer for yourself.

If those messages only appear in your history but not your friends I suggest to contact Facebook (technical) support to see happened there.
