How to re-charge 3G SIM card and main balance through a tablet?
The tablet doesn’t support messaging and voice-calling.
SIM is Vodafone India. Tab is Dell Venue 7.
You can recharge online via the below link -
Thanks dear. The recharging online refills main balance. 3G re-fill specifically entails sending sms to 144 with code ACT MI102. Please tell , is there a sms alternative to 3G refill for say, Rs.102 ~ 300 MB for Vodafone India
As I'd mentioned the Vodafone link in above comment, you can also use Freecharge to recharge online.
Can 3G be re-filled by any other way other than sms code as mentioned
Thanks. Please note , that vodafone india 3G activation is only by sms code "ACT MI102" to 144. But the sim 3G tab does not have sms facility
maybe you can call them and following the prompts for Tablets?
or through their activation web link
Thank you. The re-fill process encompasses payment for number , but 3G re-fill encompasses sending sms code. The sim 3G featured tab model mentioned in question description , does not have either voice calling facility or sms facility. Please tell , how can sms activation be done on this tab?
Try using Textra or Hangouts app.
thanks. the hangouts app does not have option to sync sms with hangout messages in device without sms app itself. Is there a workaround to enable messaging? if not call ( for getting balance by dial to *111# )?
I'd honestly never used wifi only tablet.Hence,I will advice you to try and explore the options I tell you.
Did you tried Textra app ?
You can try Dialer + app to try dialing USSD codes from your tablet. But I think it may or may not work as it might require 2G/3G radios to be built in inside the tablet.
Thanks. I saw both apps. Both apps were seen to be incompatible with Dell Venue 7. Please tell , any other dialer or sms alternative apps
maybe you can use skype? if it is an option to chat
Try MobileDialer360 app.
If it doesn't works, follow the below article -
Turn your Android tablet into a phone with GrooVe IP
The dialer installed but could not connect to dialed numbers ( no ringtone )
I viewed the second link. It seems about VOIP and Google Voice , not stock dialing via sim
