If you love watching a huge number of movies and TV shows, you know how hard it can be to keep track of everything you've seen. You might stumble across an interesting looking movie on Netflix, get ten minutes in, and find it seems familiar—is it something you watched years ago?

To help track what movies and shows you've seen, you can use dedicated tracking apps. Whether you just want a simple record of your watch history, or you want to delve further with reviews and communities, these Android apps have you covered.

1. Letterboxd

Letterboxd is the de facto movie tracking app. It has an excellent, clean interface, which makes the app a cinch to navigate. You can browse popular films from the week, view user lists, or search directly for something. When looking at a movie page, tap the plus icon and select Watch to mark it as seen.

You can also tap Review or log, which lets you rate the movie out of five, write a review, and add it to your film-watching diary so you know the date you watched it.

Letterboxd has a huge community, so be sure to browse other people's reviews and connect with your friends to compare what you've seen. It also has an iOS app, which makes Letterboxd one of the best iPhone apps to track movies seen.
