Apple recently announced its own tile-like devices called AirTags. They're designed to help you keep track of your stuff with a wireless connection between the tags and your other devices.

One of the more remarkable things Apple is offering with the AirTags is customizing them with your own engravings. While it's an excellent option, Apple limits certain combinations of emoji and text that might come across as offensive.

Before you go too crazy with your custom engraving, you might want to take a second to think about whether your designed inscription is a good idea.

Apple Is Limiting Offensive Engravings

Did you think it would be funny to put a horse emoji with a poop emoji after it? Apple already thought of that and prevented it! As discovered by The Verge, If you flip it, though, Apple is okay with your engraving.

All of the obvious swear and offensive words are also banned, so don't go thinking about dropping any F-bombs on your brand new Apple AirTags. This makes sense, but the limiting of emoji is a bit of a weird decision, as they're far more open to interpretation than actual curse words.

That being said, if you want your AirTags to represent horse excrement, feel free to use a unicorn emoji, as that works just fine.

Apple AirTags Are Coming Soon

If you're interested in trying Apple AirTags, with or without customization, they're slated to launch on April 30. That means you won't have to wait long to snag some.
