You'd be surprised how big of a difference brand consistency can make on the presentation of a product or a service. And yet, it's something that many projects and companies struggle with today.

The reason? Failure to establish and/or adhere to brand guidelines. Well, the new feature update to Adobe Spark makes this tedious task a whole lot easier.

Brand Consistency Made Easy for the Whole Team

Web and mobile tool Adobe Spark has just launched Shared Brands, a new feature that allows a team of users to create content from the same set of brand logos, fonts, and colors.

Yes, it's true. After you've poured your brand ingredients into Adobe Spark, you can now share the brand with collaborators via link, email invitation, or in-app notification.

You and your teammates will never have to fumble through files in search of the newest logo design again. Keep your brand updated in Spark, and rest assured that the content your teammates make will look consistent across the board.

What's more, if even after this update (where accessing brand assets has been made way more convenient) you're still feeling a little lazy to swap out the logo, color, and fonts of a project, no worries.

Click the Brandify button under the Design tab, and Spark will automatically change those parts of your social graphic, web page, or short video to that of your brand.

"Presenting a brand consistently across platforms and channels is crucial to a business’ success," Principal Product Manager Chloe McConnell tells MUO. "We’ve learnt from hundreds of user interviews, as well as from industry reports, that social posts with visual consistency boost brand recollection, loyalty, and, ultimately, revenue."

McConnell also says that user feedback played a big part in adding team branding, and that Adobe is thrilled to solve a problem that many teams have been facing now that a big chunk of the working force finishes their tasks at home.

"We’re constantly in communication with our users through conversations, social media, and our forums—brand sharing has been a top Adobe Spark feature request across all channels," she shares.

How Brand Sharing Works in Spark

Once you've invited someone to use your brand, they will have read-only access to all of the brand's assets. They can use the brand, but cannot make any edits to it. There is no limit to how many people you can give access to a brand.

Only you, the brand creator, can edit a brand. At the time of writing, there is no way to grant another person the ability to edit a brand in Spark.

To use a brand that was shared with you, open Spark editor and click on the brand name under the Design tab. You can switch to a shared brand by clicking on it, and use its elements to create on-brand content.
