I have installed Ubuntu 9.10, but can't get the internet to work. Have checked all the settings and have tried the wireless and wired connections. It says I can activate driver Broadcom 43, but it gives me an error when I try. Any ideas of what I could do?

There could be a driver incompatibility with your hardware if you are getting an error when activating broadcom. It is not compatible with every hardware. Do you know what your networking hardware is?

Try their help page at:[BROKEN LINK REMOVED]If you are plugged into your router via an ethernet cable it should be an easy fix. If connecting wirelessly it tends to be a little more difficult due to incompatibility issues with wireless cards/router drivers.
