I don’t even understand this chart, I mean I do but it was obviously put together by someone who has done little to zero research. The majority of the general public were more convinced of UFO existence in the late 1800′s, with sightings of the “Airships”, and this increased with the flap of 1947, but by the time Blue Book was deconstructed in the late 60′s most people were becoming skeptical. With the first release of Photoshop in 1990 everything went out the window and now less people believe then in recorded history.

It doesn’t mean convincibility as in how many people believe it’s real, it means convincibility as in the quality of a faked photograph.

On what data is this graph based?

The source of data is basic: after the release of Photoshop the images of UFO sightings became more convincing ;-) . That is all to it.

Meaningless chart. This represents a false assumption of correlation. Run a chart against the accessibility and use of cheap, high quality digital cameras and video cameras. And what data are you using to get your “convincibility” or quality rating?

    I’m gonna qoute ‘Karl’

“Meaningless chart. This represents a false assumption of correlation. Run a chart against the accessibility and use of cheap, high quality digital cameras and video cameras. And what data are you using to get your “convincibility” or quality rating?”

    – Yeah, maybe you’re right but we all stopped reading after the words ‘This represents a false assumption of correlation…’ i mean serioussly, ive never seen a harmless joke so badly torn up and shot down in flames. i’m guessing you were heavily bullied in school.
