A 32MB card is not useful for much, but you can still put a ton of text files on it!

Would I accept a free memory card…fear of malware? I would accept a free memory card.

I would look at it under linux, canon, nikon. I could format it with linux, canon, nikon and Mac. I may start up my Win machine and do a final format under dos if I was very suspicious.

A bigger card means we can fill it with more junk.

Would I accept a 32 MB card? Of course. Before I used it , it would get subjected to a format, using Ubuntu disk creator, to flush out any nasty bits, the I’d use it to store the book I’m writing.

Sure! You can always reformat it check for viruses or turn it over to the authorities due to secret government files about Roswell,,, well maybe after sending a copy to Coast to coast first ;-)

A free memory card? Who would want that? Free stuff is always nice.

Would I accept a free 32Mb SD card. Probably not, as it would be a waste of an SD card. Only use them in my DSLR camera, so could store 1 picture on it. Not very practical. Now if it was a 32Gb card, that would be a different answer :) .

And as others have mentioned, a low-level format in the camera should take care of any malware that may be present.

No, no use for it. Too small and light for a paperweight. Wait, I don’t need paperweights anymore either.

It would be just the thing for doing a mirror back-up of my hard drive. Yes please ! What would I be prepared to pay ? No more than a cheap USB hard drive.

I don’t think I’ve got a 32mb SD card, but I do have a 64mb MMC card from my old O2 XDA :) and I have numerous USB pen drives – some of which are 32MB – I’m a tech magpie – my wife HATES it. Last year she threw my LS120 drive away! Just because it was broken!

I remember buying a 128MB flash drive when that size first came out. I thought I was all that and a box of crackers. Thanks Make Use Of for the trip down memory lane. 32MB. Ahhhh the memories!

My father has an 8 MB storage card for his really old (but still in great condition) camcorder.
