If that “city” beyond the window is emulated (it doesn’t look like reality at all), then this is pointless.
Not pointless if it is just showing you the feed from a camera. Ever taken a cruise and get stuck in a cabin with no windows, but it does have the fake curtains so hopefully you aren’t reminded you didn’t spring for the ocean view room? Or get stuck in a hotel that has a rotten view? Yeah… this could solve all sorts of problems. It will save a ton of money on building houses too if these are planned in the design. It takes a lot of time to frame in windows. It would be so much cheaper to put one of these in and just paint whatever you think needs to be represented on the outside. Or better yet… just deal with the new architecture of no windows.
