I’d like to see this normalised against total number of people on other social networks, or a similar metric, which would give a better understanding of the fact that faster uptake is at least partially effected by the number of people who know of / use / make money from social media.
You should also figure in the numbers of people who inadvertently signed up but have never knowingly logged in or bothered to use Plus.
I just uploaded an album of 65 photos to g+ and shared it with selected circles of friends. Facebook is only 30% done uploading, when it finishes my co-workers will see a picture intended for family and friends. Google plus is amazing, I hope it does kill facebook, that would be good for users and advertisers. Newly launched social networks don’t show that growth at all, obviously their speed is due to their existing userbase and marketing, and the growth was impressive despite an invite only membership.
Facebook has circles as well – Facebook call them “Friends lists”. But unlike Google+ Facebook doesn’t force you to add your friends to a “circle”. When you add a friend or confirm a request you get an optional dropdown box where you can add them. Then just like you did with Google+ where you selected your family & friends to view your photos, you just select the family & friends list to have access to your Facebook photos.
G+ already had the users in other areas, so the graph is meaningless.
google+ is much faster then twitter & facebook…..
I think someone’s just uploading all these things about google+’s greatness……idc,I don’t social network.
