In that case, Microsoft’s marketing is working for you. Buy one.

What kind of douchebaggery is that?

You want the tablet, microsoft throws on something to actually make the tablet more useable for when you want to do more than browse the web and it doubles as a cover and you want to hate on that?

For the record, I like what Microsoft did with the keyboard cover, and I like the illustration almost as much. This is not hate. It’s an observation that is communicated with a clever illustration. It is sometimes called satire. Stop making up words, and learn the difference.

why do you say they are hating on it? they are just pointing out the similarities between the two, they aren’t saying it’s bad, or that it’s good

Nope thats any kind of tablet. It is unfair to justify it as the Surface.

Surface has to be the awesomest thing ever ( not microsoft fanboy here) But HAVING A FULL-FLEDGED OS on a tablet is what i’ve been waiting for, and i am glad Microsoft decided to throw in a keyboard/cover as well + has USB, HDMI and DisplayPort which makes silly adapters (ahem ipad) a thing of the past.

This is very cool, please (or) do get used to it. It is a great idea, for a tablet which is designed so you can actually do some real work on. Asus Transformer series already look like display-heavy notebooks, but their keyboard is also a dock/supplemental battery.
    Apple will surely follow.

I’m waiting for it to sell at the $99.00 fire sale price like the HP Touchpad.

    LOL

But seriously, I look forward to the Win 8 Pro version. I mean, lets see, thin lightweight tablet that has a fully operational desktop OS. Yes please. Thanks.

Think of it as a laptop…with all the hot bits moved away from your lap. Isn’t that something we all wanted?
