    Even now, in 2012, there are places where you can’t find an internet faster than 1Mbit!

      Well dialup is much slower than 1mbit, you cant compare those and btw had 1mbit in 2006 and it loaded most websites as fast as 100mbit does now so yeah… You don’t need a fast connection if you are only going to browse.

      I also agree, because my internet is 512 KBPS! But it still loads fast, in my opinion.

    Back in those days, getting a phone call while on the internet was like someone running the tap while you were in the shower, if you had a crappy heating system.
