There is not enough contrast on the mans (i.e. from skin tone against the hair eyes and lips for the program that the cam is using to detect the fact that there is a human face in front of it. When the camera sees the woman it sees the shading affects against the light skin tone and identifies it as a face. Fact is the software they are using is not advanced enough to identify the black man as all of the features on the face are too close in color all it sees are the whites of the eyes and cannot tell if those are lites or reflection etc… Cheers
