If I go into the library at my school (all iMacs), I can control 5-10 computers at once, it’s great. It’s enabled by default on all macs, and it can be changed to only respond to a certain remote, but by default it will accept signals from all remotes, very funny 
Also, pressing the menu button opens a full screen media center menu type thing, great for inturrupting what people are doing, especially if they don’t know how to get out of it 
It only works with unprepared people who did not pair or did not deactivate the IR receptor.
Which is all of them.
I wouldn’t say that, but it’s true that now that the remotes aren’t bundled with the computer anymore, less people will know until it’s too late.
Or just go PC..
Only a PC user trying to operate a MAC would not already be prepared for this.
