yes, it is an algorithm. People are not actually reading billions of emails each day. As advertisers you don’t even know what content network came from gmail vs. other partner sites. Even at gmail, they see aggregate data across many users, there is no valuable data available on a personal level. This video is very funny, but entirely wrong and a lie. I’m thinking of all of the commercials that gmail could write about 365, like poor search, folders, and use of active x controls which require every user to be using internet explorer, or the lack of easy navigation from email to docs, ect… the list goes on. And you’re paying for this buggy subscription, ugh
