google is NOT the library; google is more like the billboards and ads we see on the side of the road.
wikipedia is more like a library, free and open to anyone – no money making
it bugs me that people see google as this this great humanitarian organization – they’re a corporation!!!!
their primary purpose, just like all corporations, is to make money!!!
they aren’t here to provide free information for everyone – like libraries do – but instead they provide search bubbles to force you to click through their services so that they can farm you for more information on how to effectively push their ads at you better and faster so that they can get more ad revenue.
