I used to be a total toolbar nutcase. I would have three or four installed then wonder why it took forever for my browser to load.
These days I only have two toolbars (Google and Stumbleupon) and after a bit of tweaking, they are now both sharing the same bar on my Firefox browser. I only have what I need and the newly modified toolbar takes up very little space.

Poor Yahoo. Once the unassailable giant of the internet that could do no wrong, it has been constantly overshadowed by the big kid on the block (you know who it is, starts with a G, ends in an E…..). Once I thought Yahoo Mail and I would live together for ever and produce lots of healthy email but then Gmail stole my heart away…..
But all is not lost for Yahoo. People love to put them down but I still love them and they are still a mighty force to be reckoned with. Here’s why:
Yahoo recently launched Talent Show in order to find someone who can become next internet celebrity and run own show on Yahoo. The idea of contest is to produce a video piece that best highlights your skills and abilities, and it can be about anything you want. Each person can submit upto 50 videos with each piece being less then 10 min in length. Videos will be judged based on users’ votes and comments. The winner of the contest will get US$50,000 and a development deal to star in, or produce show on Yahoo.
I see myself hanging around too much around video services these days, looking at the abundance of services rolling every week there is no doubt online video and broadcasting is on the big BOOM. For web users like you and me it means nothing but good. I am quite sure that in less then 6 month, I can put a RIP sign on my TV and let it bury in dust, and upgrade from 24″ to 30″ monitor. Maaaan, this obsession with screens is not healthy.
We have already reviewed bunch of google services but only 2 services from Yahoo, so it is a right time for Yahoo Answers, one more application with 100% user generated content.
‘Yahoo Answers’ is a place where you can ask and answer questions. And unlike many other similar services and forums, things happen extremely fast here. Most of the questions receive multiple replies within a one day of posting. It is like free consulting service.
This is something fun and rather unusual. Yahoo has lauched time capsule. This time capsule will run for 30 days (from Oct. 10 untill Nov 8 ) accumulate data and then saved for the future generations. People in the future will be able to see what was it like in year 2006 through images, writings, audio files, videos and drawings which are currently submited by users.
