If you have a little time to waste on Twitter, you might want to check out a new site called YouAsked.it. Created by Belgium developer, Maarten Schenk, "You Asked It" filters tweets with questions in them. When a question pops up, you get under 30 seconds to respond to it. To use You Asked It, you will of course need a Twitter account and a willingness to write pithy and witty responses to a range of questions.

The web is the Grand Oracle. It sees all and answers all. I wish we had the educational and self-learning edge it gives to today’s generation. In a snap, you can tap it to ask anything about the world we live in, and generally it is pretty accurate answering back. Perhaps, apart from the ‘question of life’ it can answer anything. Who knows, someone might come up with that answer too in due time.

Earlier this month it was announced that the print edition of the Encyclopedia Britannica is no more, with the 2010 edition confirmed as the last to ever roll off the presses. In essence the Internet has killed off the need for any of us to have a 32-volume encyclopedia sitting on our bookshelves. The Web provides all the answers to questions we may have.
