Apple’s iOS is designed to be intuitive. There’s no user manual in the box, and I’m sure Apple reps would argue that it doesn’t need one. Most of the device’s functionality is easy to access with a few taps or swipes, once you know how. Intuition can be unreliable, however, as it works differently with different people. Whenever I travel, I always make sure that I have some way of charging my iPhone and iPad on the go. Looking for a wall socket to charge up whilst remaining there for the entire duration is not an option in my book. This is a much overdue review, I'll admit, but instead of publishing a breezy overview of the iPad mini, I wanted to experience and integrate it in my daily life in order to truly tell you if Apple's latest creation -- this overpriced 7.9" tablet -- is really worth spending so much money on. Before we begin, here's a disclaimer: I love all Apple products from iPhones to iMacs. But when the iPad mini was announced, I wasn't so sure. Anyway, we purchased a Slate 16GB iPad mini (WiFi-only model) for $329 to find out if Apple poured as much heart and soul into it; as they have for their previous products. If you just updated an app in the last couple of days and it is crashing before even opening, don't go and leave a negative review on the app. It appears that this is happening to some really major applications, and the problem seems to be caused by an issue on Apple's end. Apple has not commented on the issue yet, but Instapaper creator Marco Arment has said in a blog post recently that this is happening with his app.
