To celebrate William Shatner’s birthday on March 22nd, Hulu has made every episode of every Star Trek series available for free. Yes, you heard right, every episode of The Original Series, The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager and Enterprise is now free on Hulu, until the end of March.

If you're based in the US, or have found a workaround like Tunlr for those of you who aren't, keeping up with your favourite TV shows and movies on the free service Hulu is one of the best ways to watch TV. The most popular shows are available on Hulu, and you can watch them pretty much any time you want. That's not to to say that the service couldn't be better. There's a few things about Hulu we're not crazy about.

So you can add your music and video collections and browse the Internet. Hulu has recently managed to woo Apple and is now offering Hulu Plus for users of Apple TV. The new Hulu Plus app appears alongside the Netflix app and is available immediately. The basics of using Hulu Plus in Apple TV should be familiar to anyone who has used Hulu Plus before. Subscribers enter their login information to gain access, while new users will be able to enjoy a one-week trial before deciding if they’d like to commit. A subscription is $7.99 per month.

Watch TV shows and movies from Hulu without leaving the comfort of your couch. If you've got an XBMC media center you'd be silly to not install this plugin (assuming you live in the US: Hulu is still blocked in all other countries). A couple weeks ago I discovered that Boxee on the desktop is dead. I was disappointed, but was thrilled to discover that XBMC is not only a capable replacement but better than Boxee.
