Skype, the popular application for voice and video calls, supports a range of mobile operating systems, including Android. Unfortunately, the list of supported devices for video calls is limited. This has been a major source of disappointment. With its recent upgrade, Skype for Android white-listed 14 more devices for video calling, including three tablets running Android Honeycomb.

Dolphin Browser HD is one of the most popular browsers for Google Android, a fast browser that sports a clean interface and provides quick and easy access to full screen mode. It supports tabs, bookmarks, and you can add favorite pages to the Speed Dial tiles, which are shown on every New Tab. While browsing with just the plain features is fine, there remains plenty of room for improvement.

Tablets are excellent for watching movies. The big, beautiful displays are able to render detail that you simply don’t receive while squinting at a 4.3” LCD, making the mini-theatrical experience that much better. This has made it all the more strange that Netflix hasn’t been quick to offer support for Honeycomb-powered Android tablets, but now that issue has finally been rectified.

Ice Cream Sandwich might be released in a near future, and while it’s a quite a popular topic these days, let’s not forget that it will much resemble Honeycomb, the beautiful tablet-oriented platform that was unveiled at the beginning of this year. No matter how futuristic typing on touchscreen devices may seem, the larger reality is that you (and plenty of other users) are probably more used to typing with physical keyboards. You have probably even come to the conclusion that a full-sized physical keyboard is much bigger a joy to use compared to a smartphone or tablet on-screen keyboard.
