I have to admit that I’m generally not much of a fan for toolbars. In fact I hate them, thanks to their spam-related nature. Even those that weren’t spam weren’t on my nice list either. I just felt like the features weren’t of any real use. However, there happens to be a very elite number of toolbars that do make it into my nice list, and the one we’re talking about today is one of them.

Many people have been upset with recent browser upgrades. Especially Firefox which is causing serious issues on some machines, slowing it down to uselessness. While it’s not a good idea to downgrade software, sometimes it’s better than to abandon it altogether. But you need to use sufficient security precautions.

Most active Internet users are tab-fanatics. We have lots of active tabs open at a time and we are constantly looking for more ways to better manage and organize them. The here-there-and-everywhere nature of Google Docs gives me an opportunity to use it as a brain dump for my impromptu notes. Most of us live in the browser; and if it’s Firefox then QuickFox is a must-install extension. Now, using a freely available script, you can send all your saved notes to Google Docs.

Default YouTube search results page has terrible usability: you can’t preview videos, you have zero understanding if each video might be what you need and you have to scroll down again and again to scan through results. So I’ve been searching for some browser addons to improve results and I am pretty much excited with what I was able to find. Here are my 3 best finds (tested on FireFox 4).
