The contacts synchronization feature on my smartphone prompted me to get my contacts in order. I was rewarded for this effort a few months later when that same cellphone started breaking down, and decided to do away with all of my data — emails, contacts, applications — the whole lot of it. Restoring it all from the cloud took a measly five minutes. And yet I’ve never been able to get my contacts sorted out on my Mac. I guess I don’t like Address Book.

In my entire life, I think I can honestly say that the single most annoying task (and the one I am worst at), is maintaining an updated list of the addresses, phone numbers and birthdays of all of my friends, family and colleagues. Lately I’ve been looking for an alternative to using a computer application or a mobile app to maintain a contact database. I believe I found the perfect solution.

Do you have a central contacts list? It’s pretty difficult to nowadays. In my case, it’s a near impossibility. I’ve simply changed services too many times, failing to copy all of my contacts over each time I move. You know what we could all use? A consolidation tool. Something that will connect with all of my old services and pull all of my contacts.
