Yandex Opens Their Cloud Storage Solution To The Public With Up To 20Gb Free Storage [Updates]

Russian search giant Yandex has had their own invite-only cloud storage solution on the market for a while now, and they have just opened it up so anyone can sign up and get their free storage. Of course, cloud storage services are available from an almost limitless amount of providers, but Yandex.Disk offers an abnormally high amount of space without having to sign up for any kind of premium account.

To start with, all new users will get 10GB of free space, which is quite high when compared to some its competitors. Users can double their available space to 20GB by referring friends to the service. Finding friends to refer should be quite easy when they realize how much space they will get to store their important music, documents and other files.

To get your free Yandex.Disk account, simply head over to disk.yandex.com and click the giant yellow “Log In” button. From here you will be able to sign in to an existing account or create a new one. You can create an account manually or use one of your social networks to sign up.

There are applications available for Windows, OS X, Android and iPhone, so you will be able to get access to your account from pretty much anywhere.

Are you interested in a new cloud storage service, or are you happy with what you have? Let us know in the comments!
