Microsoft Word is perhaps the best Word processor for Windows computers. With its sleek interface, integration of table tools, various formatting tools, and various other composing options, the application has set a high bar. For a long time Word was unavailable to Mac computers – something which has now changed.

Now you can get Office for Mac that is basically a suite of Office products that includes Excel, PowerPoint, etc. But the suite costs at least more than $100 – a high price to pay if all you want to do is use a competent text editor. Thankfully a competent and inexpensive alternative is available that not only provides you with Word processing features but also enables you to take full advantage of the Mac retina display. This alternative is a tool called Word by ICSOFT.

Now that I have the free license, how do I download the software? I went to the app store but I have to buy it first before I can download it. So what's the use of this code that I have received from you?

    Please help.

The ultimate determinant is of course hands-on but the features/benefits laid out above are enticing. Word by ICSOFT price wise seems a nice alternative Mac text editor.
