Ever since i downloaded and first used the release candidate in Feb/March 2009, I’ve been a die-hard fan on Windows7. I even delayed buying a new laptop until they came bundled with Win7, and I’ve never regretted it. Windows7 and MS Security Essentials are the best moves by Microsoft in a long time.

    Thanks for this ebook!!!

bah! The reason I still use XP and not Windows 7 is that it does the job and does not cost me anything extra. I also use Ubuntu for the same reason. To each their own though.

I use XP, because, it versatile, and has all, everyone needs to put a job through.
vista and 7, need to upgrade the equipment. and are more oriented to games, and leisure, which is not bad, if that is the objective, of using a computer.

I have installed XP in a new machine, which I purchased with Vista, it is great.

Great read. I got both Vista and XP at the moment, definitely issues with Vista, find alot of blue screens on it, I have a old desktop for certain applications that Vista won’t run, think I will hang on to it. Vista is definitely quicker at internet work I find, especially multiple internet pages and things like that to XP. I would consider moving to 7 at some stage, but the problems I had with Vista has made me cautious.

Hi, Just had a look at the book, blurb says about the network section dealing with sharing etc. What a lightweight section, written by someone who doesnt live in the real world. yeh sure, well all update all our Xp machines to win 7 so we can use your massive network guide as all we need to know. I now know why the book is free, still overpriced.
