Web’s Coolest Shopping Destinations

With the festive season just around the corner, chances high you’ll be doing lots of shopping in coming weeks. So, I decided to armor you with some of the coolest and unique shopping websites that has something to offer no matter how fussy you are.

Cafepress - buy sell custom made stuffThinking of sending your friends custom made gifts? This website allows you to customize items such as clothes, office and home accessories, cards, books, cd’s etc with slogans, cartoons, images (upload anything you want) etc of your own choosing. You may either design something of your own or buy custom goodies created by others.

Dealplus- Social Shopping this website posts hot deals recommended by users from different shopping sites, furthermore each recommended deal is given either a thumbs up or down by other users, along with comments from users who have taken advantage of the deal. Deals with the highest score make to the home page. I like the idea of letting people decide what’s bargain and what’s not. check it out

Etsy - Marketplace for handmade items this is literally the place to go to if you want to gift someone something 100% original”¦etsy is the market place for handmade stuff, think of it as an ebay for hand-made goods. Lets you browse products by color, geographical location, price range etc. A piece of advice though, while I can see lots of amazing things here, some of the stuff pure crap”¦ so keep your eyes open.

Woot - 1 deal per daywoot’s tagline is “One Day, One Deal.” that’s right woot sells only one product per day until it’s sold out or the product is replaced at midnight(11.59.59) central time with the next offering. Woot deals are usually quite good and sold out by noon, cool thing is that there is no way to find out the number of items left in stock so you gotta make up your mind fast. Website is highly popular and each deal is heavily commented on, providing you all the feedback you need. More on woot at wikipedia

Like.com - Visual Shoppinglike.com lets you shop in a whole new way, in addition to usual text search here you have an option to look for products by their visual appearance. Simply select the item you need from some photo(celebrity, ad etc) and it will find same or similar items. The unique thing about this website is the flexibility it allows you in selecting the exact details you want in the product. This website is primarily for accessories such as shoes, bags, watches, jewelery, glasses etc. One feature you may really like here is ‘celebrity-worn look-alike product’ that captures some of the items worn by celebrities and bring you alike, for instance check out some of the goodies worn by P Diddy.

Sweet links! I’ll check out some of these as I haven’t heard of them before. You should really check out Tanga.com as well if you like daily deals. They have some cool stuff there that Woot doesn’t offer!

    @ A.S. Peters

Try looking for coupon/bargain aggregators, I am sure there are plenty of them. For more effective promotion try starting with a more popular one.
