- Justin.tv – 24/7, web-based reality show. The main dude here is Justin Kan, a 23-year-old guy from San Francisco.
- Mailinator – extremely convenient ‘disposable email’ service. [HowTo: (1) make up any email address, i.e. xxxxxxx@mailinator.com -> (2) use it for whatever signups you want -> (3) access your inbox using only its email address]
- Minggl – handy browser plugin (IE, Firefox, Flock) to efficiently manage all your social profiles (MySpace, Facebook, Xanga, Bebo… ) right from your browser toolbar. Features: update/login/manage multiple profiles simultaneously, more privacy control, all your social contacts on a single list, tag/sort/email contacts and lots more. You’ll be granted extra privileges if you mention ‘makeuseof’ upon signup.
- PictureSandbox – cool search tool for Flickr users. Lets you search images by license attribution (Noncommercial, Sharelike …), date it was taken, username and group ID.
- VideoHybrid – one of the better places to watch popular TV shows (24, Desperate Housewifes, etc.) and movies (300, Alpha Dog, etc.) for free. Relatively good video quality + ‘Full Screen’ mode. Also check out Alluc
