A bit more information would be helpful. Is your OS Windows XP, Vista or 7? The instructions are for Vista, but there may be slight modifications for other systems. Also, what are the dimensions of your video?

Windows Movie Maker from a Windows XP machine should be working. When you clicked on the FX Archive page, did you choose "Windows XP logo locator" instead of "Windows Vista Logo Locator"? And did you create the XML file in C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\Shared\AddOnTFX\ and is your image in GIF or PNG format? I would like to help you but if you did all of that and you're still not getting the logo to appear, then I'm afraid I can't help you, but you can try posting your question on the Movie Maker Forums.

i folowed diligently your instructions but the log does not shows up? I dont have windows movie maker 2, i wonder if that is the reason? My computer is old, i have windows xp and it says wondows movie maker only, not 2 so why cant i see my logo? thank you!

Thanks for your comment. It seems like the Ifunia Video Converter is for Mac and a paid product (with a free trial). I think you can get the same basic editing features in iMovie.

Well, now there are many 3-party software can add watermark or logo for videos, like ifunia video converter which Im used to, provides a series of practical editing tools except adding watermark, also can trim, crop, and add effects.
