What OS do you have? i have been using Livestation for a while and have never experienced the issues you have mentioned.

Hugely disappointed with Livestation. The only channel that played reliably was al Jazeera. Most wouldn’t even load at all. Those that did load suffered frequent and annoying dropouts. Worse, when I first installed it, a preview of the premium, paid version of al Jazeera kept playing and playing, with no way to stop it or delete it from “my favorite channels.” The desktop application hijacked the volume control on my computer. And there is no “uninstall” option. Total waste of my afternoon. Don’t bother.

There is already Zattoo.com with an even wider selection of channels with the only downside being that it is only available for a few selected European countries, but other than that it beats livestation hands down.
