Owners of Android tablets with a Tegra processor have access to TegraZone, an exclusive game market curated by Nvidia. Now the company is holding a player’s choice competition between various games hosted on TegraZone to find the game that players have enjoyed the most.
Anyone from an eligible country who votes in the competition has the chance to win one of seven free Transformer Pad 300 tablets, complete with keyboard dock and a game package that includes a controller and mobile sound system. The entire prize is valued at $650.
Although the competition is about TegraZone games, you don’t have to own a tablet to qualify (that restriction would be against the law in many countries). All you need to provide is your vote and your personal information including name, email and address.
Unfortunately this makes the competition of dubious value because gamers can vote even if they have never played any of the games listed and don’t own an Android device. I encourage anyone who votes to at least go to the TegraZone home page and look at the games listed. Some of them are ports of older console games, like Grand Theft Auto III, but many are original games from indie developers.
Only voters over the age of 18 living in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom or Germany are eligible to win the sweepstakes prize.
