I believe it shows where they came from. I visited my site through some proxies to check if it was working and those proxies show up as their domain. The other hits are variations of my website domain(with/without www.). Those would be direct hits with no &#039;middle man&#039;. If you want to track individual ip&#039;s you need to use another service like statcounter.com.</description>

When I go to the Visitors&gt;Network Properties&gt;Hostnames section of the report, all I see are variations of the domain name of the website.

Also, this help article from Google specifically says that they do not provide visitor IP addresses in any way due to privacy concerns.
