Videoronk – Ideal Tool for Searching Video

Videoronkvideo search and download engine
In the last 2 weeks I’ve published 2 posts mentioning tools that can help you download videos from popular video sharing websites; once in the article about youtube tools and once here in the post about greasemonkey extension for firefox. In both cases it was about how to get videos on your comp once you find them. Since, I never really mentioned anything regarding that ‘find’ part, I decided to do some digging and see if there is any unusual video search tools I can write about.

And voila!, after checking out several goodies I came across videoronk; an ordinary search tool with some extraordinary features;

  • search top 8 video sharing sites simultaneously (youtube, googlevideo, vimeo, metacafe, ifilm, blip.tv, revver, dailymotion and myspace)
  • ‘get this video’ and instant ‘add to favorites’ option for any item listed in the search result
  • along each result there is a bunch of thumbnail images letting you preview it
  • add videoronk to your browser search toolbar for faster access(firefox2 and IE 7 supported)

Overall it seems like a handy search tool, check it out.

Update: I have just realized ‘add to favorites’ option doesn’t work, mailed webmaster let’s see if this is something temporary
