Hello!

I'm Duane Roelands, the author of Quitter. Thanks for blogging about Quitter!

The name "Quitter" is a combination of the words "quiet" and "Twitter". No great mystery there.

Quitter 2.0 is currently in development, and our goal is to allow you to read updates from your Twitter friends AND your Facebook friends in the same command window interface.

Thanks for trying Quitter!

Very cool clients. You can also force the API by means of command right in the tweet not to report the source of the tweet. This can be found under the "API" link at the bottom of any Twitter page. When you use this, it doesn't matter which client you use, it will mask the client ID. ;)

These two are really small handy useful tools for office users. Workers now are able to send tweets to others without worrying of boss around. Great sharing.
