I've never been a big fan of the Vista Sidebar, that being said, if you were a sidebar user, having full time facebook access via the sidebar would be very useful.

I spend so much time in the browser now adays that I don't see any real use for something like Vista Sidebar. I have nothing against the sidebar, I just don't use it myself, and have a hard time coming up with any reason that I would use it.

My advice, access facebook via your favorite browser, I recommend using Facebook Lite on Google Chrome for the best experience.

I know this is a solid solution but for me, even after years of vista the sidebar is still unreliable and just serves to make my system unreliable. if you could do a roundup of desktop facebook notifiers or widgets for object dock or similar docks. or just a post about the top 10 things to do while we are waiting for windows 7 to come out so we can finally use these widgets.
