If you want to share a file on Twitter, you first need to upload a file to a file hosting service. Next you obtain the file’s URL and shorten it. Finally you Tweet the shortened URL and share the file with your friends. This time consuming process has now been speeded up with cool online app “TwileShare.”
TwileShare is a free web service that uploads your files and lets you Tweet their shortened URL at the same time. You can also check how many views your shared files have received.
All you do is grant TwileShare access to your Twitter account. Then you select a file from your computer to upload and include a message that will Tweeted along with the file’s shortened URL – a character tells you how many characters you have left in the message. You can upload JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF, Word, and Excel files as long as they are sized less than 10MB.
When your friends click on the shortened URL they are taken to TwileShare’s page for your file. On this page your file can be downloaded; its number of views are also displayed on the same page.
