Flickr Photo Books is a new service from Flickr that gives you an easy way to turn your best photos into a glossy photo book. A Flickr Photo Book can be generated in minutes with a single click on the photos you want to assimilate into the book. Each 11-by-8.5-inch hardcover bound book with photos on premium heavy stock photo Lustre paper costs $34.95 for 20 pages. Each extra page will cost an extra of $0.50 per page, and one can go up to 240 pages. The only downer is that the service provides shipping for the U.S. alone.

Flickr Photos Books could make for wonderful gifts, so the timing of the launch is favorable. You can easily select your best photos. Handpick them by clicking on the Photo Book icon and let Flickr’s algorithm take over as it automatically crops and centers your photos. Of course, you still can rearrange the order of photos or manually adjust the cropping. The first image in your set becomes the cover for the photo book, so make sure it’s the right one.

A Flickr Photos Book looks like a beautiful package. There are other ways to print photo books though, so are you tempted?
