There was one for Pocket PC devices:

It doesn't scan, but is good for a laugh if you point it at someone's computer when they want to know what is wrong and make the noises from the show come out of it.

Downloaded Version 3.10 from the google code page (recent versions only work with android 1.6 and above.. my htc hero (not the sprint) is 1.5)

pretty nifty little app to have. My version doesn't have "acoustic" though so i can't check that out. but it does have "ENVironmental" though, with light, proxi & temp.. light and proxi give me no data though.

What are the numbers in the compass for? I assume they're satellites. does it mean how close they are overhead?

Have you tried tapping certain "data" bits? if you tap the screen in GRAV & MAG, it changes between absolute & relative. sorry, tapping the top vector bar changes that and tapping the data bar changes to lines.
The satellites bar changes to a series of bars with which i assume are signal strengths. clicking the sun changes its image. it might just be this older version.

Thanks for this :P
