I have used Mindscape Brain Trainer for years now and its really good in general. Except that its very limited in the scaling for people who needs a bigger challange at some areas and I for one is VERY happy about an opensource version I can actually change. The spelling part of BT was also hugely annoying as I never trained fancy words when having English, as I'm not from an English native country. One of the Logic tests the Connexagon I always failed after level 3 cause my mind couldnt figure out a method to solve so it became a think-as-you-go thing, where I could ace the others. The level you score isnt recorded very well for stats week2week and the Levels should go down agian if one becomes worse etc.

Really good article, I thought I was the only only concerned with Use-it-or-lose-it aspect of our brains.
