I can’t wait to own my own iPhone, but have to wait until my Verizon (and I love Verizon) contract runs out in March! Wish there was a way to work around it, but oh well…does anyone know if Verizon will ultimately sell the iPhone? Rumors are running AMOK with this! How much does the average user pay monthly for an iPhone with texting?

I just got my first iPhone and have FALLEN IN LOVE with it. Some more tips that I figured out myself are: in many applications you can UNDO whatever you’ve just done by simply shaking the iPhone. When you’re typing and want to go to the middle of a word to correct a type-o, just touch the word and hold until the little magnifying glass shows up. You can then slowly move the cursor to exactly where you want it to be. Then just release.

I have backgrounder too but have never had this problem. Don’t hold them downbjust push them at the same time, then immediately release. The screen will flash if it has worked.

thanks for the tips. i have backgrounder enabled. when i try hitting the sleep button and home button together to take a screen shot as your recommended, it just enables the backgrounder and does not flash.

any workaround?
