There are a lot of indie acts and a lot of major acts on that site already and I was one of the first to sign up to their beta to check it out. You can add video and audio to your playlist and the bands get paid when you listen. It's kind of like myspace and youtube and facebook and there are also a lot of extras like a 'digg news' section that let's you post links to interesting stories and blogs. It does just about everything I think. So it may be interesting for you to check out. The only thing that it doesn't seem to have yet is music recommendation and like a audio search. But in their newsletter it's something Kerchoonz is developing, so, if it is as good as the rest of the site is, I think it's going to be great.
