I've been using Toodledo for a couple of years and love it. It's simple, accessible from mobile phones, sms, PC, and ties into everything else I use (Outlook, Google Cal, etc). The company had some downtime issues with their datacenter providers earlier in the year, but I think they have redistributed the application as a result. I also recommend the $15 a year for the pro level - the ability to have subtasks is absolutely worth it. There is also a good blackberry app @ taskjot.com. While Toodledo is not as slick as RTM, and requires more work to input tasks, I have found that the extra effort on input makes it easier to manage tasks and keep track of work later.
