OMG, in which time the author is living. Currently the best software is Torrents Open Registrations Checker http://teamroots.co.cc

According to there blog, new version will have almost everything which is scheduled to launch in Jan 2009.

Good article- I ran into this problem awhile back when I wanted to get into Demonoid- Tracker 2 did the trick- left it on for a few weeks and it told me when registrations were open, and I got right in. Just make sure you set it up to scan for the right wording for whichever site you want to get into and it should work just fine.

Good article dude, I used to be a member of Filelist, I logged in one day to find they had removed my account (and my ratio was good!).

Haven’t been able to get on since.
