We live in a world where just every single show is binge-watchable across a wide range of streaming service. It seems like every movie is available instantly. Between Amazon Prime, Netflix, Hulu Plus, HBO, and all the others, it actually feels like we have too many shows to choose from.

This is going to sound crazy, but in some ways, choosing entertainment has become like dating. While we used to be limited to only dating the people we met in the real world, apps like Tinder have it made so we can sift through thousands of potential dates in seconds.

MightyTV now lets users swipe left and right to choose which TV shows and movies they want to watch -- just like Tinder but without all the rejection and disappointment.

To start with, you choose the streaming services you have access to (between Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, HBO, Showtime, and Cinemax) and whether you're interested in paying for extras. From there, you sign in with Facebook and it's time to start swiping.

Like Tinder, you swipe right to like something and left to pass on a show or movie. It'll learn what you like and dislike, and as time goes on, it will get better at offering you recommendations that work for your tastes. It makes choosing what to watch feel more like a game and less like a painful chore.

When something comes up that you haven't seen, but would like to, you can tap it and see on which service it is available. From there, you can tap the + symbol on the bottom right of the screen and add it it your watchlist, so you know to watch it when you're in front of your TV.
