I'm puzzled by the large number of negative comments people have posted on WOT for the site for downloading Rename Master. (http://www.reimage.com/home/repair/indexZ1g.php?tracking=google&banner=greenTextUSCAN_registry&gclid=CN_prNLN_J4CFQchDQodoxV6yQ) There are a lot of comments saying it contains malware. Any idea whether they're accurate or not?

Check out www.ezyimageresizer.com if you want to do batch image resizing but dont want to install (yet another) program. Runs in the browser as a java applet, so no need to upload/download images to a server! (thats my pet peeve about all the other online image resizers)

Tim - one of the best all around image "manipulation" tools (not editing) is Irfanview. It not only converts between a huge list of file formats, but has a batch mode that can be used on hundreds or tens of thousands of images at once - excellent product - and free.

As tekunik says, it's unnecessary to use three separate programs for operations that a single program can perform so well (Irfanview).
