Two features are particularly useful in Nero:
1- use multiple writers
2- make multiple copies of a given project/image

Does any of the above mentioned programs allow both features ?
Does any Mac program does it ?

Congrats for the nice information provided here.
cheers

What you need to do is to "normalise" your audio files before burning. Many CD burning tools allow you to do this.

Yesterday, I tried to burn a multi-track cd with Deepburner--and I wanted the 2 second gap between tracks. But, all I got was a single 30 minute track that was nothing but silence. I'm beginning to wonder if any of these programs actually work as advertised. Very frustrating and confusing.

Thanks very much for your feedback, butanebob. It's really helpful! Sounds like CDBurnerXP has a lot more problems than just not eliminating the 2 second gap between tracks.

I'm currently using itunes cd burner for Windows XP. Unfortunately, I've found that the quality of the music isn't very good regarding sound volume levels. Some of the songs on the cd are really loud and some are really quiet. However, some of the songs are like that on my computer even before burning anyway. I've been told that the best way to fix that problem is to burn the cd on the slowest burning speed. But I've also been told to find a better cd burner, like nero. I really don't want to pay for a huge package just to burn the occasional cd. But I also don't want to download another free cd burner if it's just going to do a crappy job like itunes.
Can I solve this problem with the itunes cd burner somehow? or is this CDBurnerXP program going to be the answer?

This afternoon I downloaded CDBurnerXP and Deepburner. On each one I tried to burn a gapless, or Disk-at-Once, audio cd. But, that feature didn't work with either program. In fact, Deepburner has "disk-at-once" and "session-at-once" options, but they both put the 2 second gap between songs, as did the supposed "gapless" option on CEBurnerXP. So, I'm confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! (P.S. I'm using Windows Vista.)

I have a set of vcd movies in iso form (one iso file for each vcd). The actual movie part in each vcd is in the mpegav folder as avseq??.dat files. I want to burn a set of these dat files (belonging to about 5 or 6 vcds) into one dvd disc as data files (my stand alone dvd player can play these dat files). But as the avseq??.dat file names are the same in each iso file, it requires a burn programme that can automatically rename them before accepting them for burning them. Is there such a programme? Thanks in advance.
