easy way to delete bookmark from Mac Chrome:
Click on View. Always Show Bookmarks Bar. Right click on the bookmark you want to remove and delete it.

Actually, you can easily delete all your bookmarks by trashing this file: /Users/username/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks You can also edit the file. Each bookmark is separated from the other by a comma, and enclosed in curly brackets. They all reside together within a pair of brackets and have type URL. They'll look like this: "children": [ { }, { }, { } ], So if you delete the whole text between a pair of curly brackets (including the curly brackets) and the trailing comma, you'll delete the respective bookmark.

I have always found chrome alpha to be slower than Firefox on my MBP. I will wait for the final release before making it my default browser.
