Each bookmark is separated from the other by a comma, and enclosed in curly brackets. They all reside together within a pair of brackets and have type URL. They'll look like this: "children": [ { }, { }, { } ], So if you delete the whole text between a pair of curly brackets (including the curly brackets) and the trailing comma, you'll delete the respective bookmark. Actually, you can easily delete all your bookmarks by trashing this file:

/Users/username/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks
