tenXer is an online service that helps developers do a lot with the work services that they use. Google, GitHub, Pivotal Tracker, Phabricator, Twitter, and JIRA are all services that can be connected to your account. You are then able to view the imported information and view details such as statistics, leaderboards, and your main dashboard to manage and control everything.
In addition to its web interface, the app also offers a smartphone application compatible with iOS devices. The tool is sized at nearly 6 MB and requires your smart device to be running version 6.0 or later of iOS. Many iOS device owners, even if they are not software engineers, would want to try out this smartphone app because it helps you maximize your productivity in very simple steps.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the top section is being used to track the time spent at work so far, the number of cups of coffee consumed, the number of tweets so far, and so on. The later section lists GitHub data, in case you have connected your account from the service.
In the screenshot below you can see how the application has plotted client meetings on a map – information that can be extremely useful in judging how much time it would take to get from one client meeting to the next.
These features are only the tip of the iceberg as this service has a lot more to offer in terms of productivity for the modern professional, particularly the software engineer.
