Turn Your Mac Into Sync-Central with SyncMate [MakeUseOf Giveaway]

If you’re looking for an easy solution for two-way syncing for your Mac, SyncMate makes it a cinch to synchronize with other PCs or Macs; with your Gmail account; a SyncMate online account; Windows Mobile smartphone, Nokia S40 and Android phones; USB drives and even your Sony PSP.

This week, we’re giving away 20 copies of SyncMate Expert Edition for Mac from Eltima Software worth $800 in total!

Would you like to get one?

With all devices and accounts, you can control how your data is synced – choosing either one-, two- or even three-way syncing. Adding a new connection is made easy using the Device Connection Wizard. Simply select the kind of connection you would like to add, and SyncMate does the rest for you.

Using SyncMate, you can sync your contacts and iCal events with your Gmail or Google Apps accounts. There is no limit to the number of Google accounts as you can add.

When it comes to syncing with your Windows PC; you can sync contacts, iCal events, To Dos, Safari Bookmarks, Entourage notes, Mail notes, stickies and folders.

Registering for an account with SyncMate’s online backup allows you to sync contacts, iCal events, To Dos, Safari bookmarks, Entourage notes and Mail notes. SyncMate Expert gives you 200MB of free storage space.

Syncing with your Nokia S40 phone can be done via Bluetooth, while syncing your Windows Mobile phone is done via USB. Using SyncMate, you can read your SMS messages and call history from the comfort of your computer screen. With their latest addition, SyncMate allows you to sync data between your Mac and your Android phone. To find out if your phone is supported, browse their compatibility listing.

SyncMate even allows you to sync data such as photos and videos with USB flash drives, Sony PSPs, Windows Mobile phones and other Macs.

You can set SyncMate to remind you to sync from anywhere between once daily to once a month, and can also set each account or device to autosync as often as you want. The sync process can also be entirely password protected.

Syncing can be done simultaneously to all selected devices, or to an individual device or account, and you have complete control over which accounts or devices are included in the sync.

Sounds like something that will make your life easier? Let’s see how you can win a copy.

I would have liked to try to win a SyncMate license, but I do not use Twitter or Facebook and they are blocked here at work anyway. Please don’t require Twitter or Facebook accounts for things like this in the future. You are limiting your audience.
